Sep 21,  · On "Riot Riot Upstart", the background music is purposely muffled a lot. Sure, it is like that on pretty much all Agnostic front CDs but this was much more muffled than usual. Not to mention it wasn't really that hard either. The simplicity, muffledness and lightness in the background music really leave something to be desired/5(7).

Dead Yuppies is the seventh full-length studio album from New York hardcore band Agnostic Front. It was released in September, on Epitaph Records and follows 's Riot, Riot, Upstart. Due to the title, the release of the album was delayed in America and a sticker was placed on the cover by the record company in the wake of the 9/11 /5(3).

Riot, Riot, Upstart is a album in the classic early-'80s Agnostic Front style: full-on, straight-ahead, adrenaline-driven hardcore. It may not be anything new, but it is refreshing in the late '90s to hear the genre's roots still being adhered to, and the lack of glossy overproduction is another plus.6/

Agnostic Front. Agnostic Front is an American punk band. The band began playing hardcore punk similar to their contemporaries, and were thrust to the forefront of the burgeoning New York hardcore scene in the mids with their widely regarded classic Victim in Pain before incorporating thrash metal elements into their music.
